It’s the fashion savvy couple from New York! You’ll remember them from their fabulous engagement session we did in NYC last Fall. Erica with her flawless appreciation for style, chose an elegant pair of Christian Louboutin shoes to wear with her exquisit Monique Lhuillier gown, and she had a dazzling pair of Monolo Blahnik’s that she brought as an alternate to wear at the reception. They went all out with their wedding day gifts, Erika & her mom exchanged gifts, and then Kyle & Erika had their exchange later on (you’ll see Kyle’s Cartier watch). Spending time with them in New York, we knew that this couple was just brimming with style, and we expected nothing less for their wedding. It was one of the hottest days of the year, even right on the beach at the Shutters Hotel in Santa Monica the heat was fierce, but Kyle & Erica proceeded as if they had expected it, with the most upbeat joyous attitudes about their day. It reminded me of the day we shot their engagement photos, because it rained almost the entire time, but they marched out and acted like it was the perfect representation of their lives in their beautiful city. They are such a gracious, loving couple, and we are honored to call them friends. Congratulations guys!

It’s family portrait season, and there’s still time to do yours! We met Andy through our photo job with ELIC. He was our guide and interpreter when we went to China in April. We became instant friends, and stayed in touch with him and his adorable family, who we just had to photograph. Seriously, can you resist these kids? Taya’s cheeks are so squeezable, and little Logan is quite the character (with awesome Guitar Hero imitating skills). They recently moved to Colorado, so we’re glad we got the session in before they left. Here are a few of our favorites from the session. We miss you guys!
