Loyola Love

Jared & Jamie met while attending Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and it seemed only fitting for them to go back to where Jared proposed to have their wedding ceremony. Just outside the chapel is the John Patrick Hanna Bench where Jared asked his love to spend a lifetime with him. The bench has a plaque that reads “Intended for occupancy by couples of marriageable age with reasonable expectations that their present relationship may lead to holy matrimony and that in this beautiful setting, they may seriously discuss the future and such other matters of mutual interest.” There are a few images of the bench below.
Our great day with the couple started off at Casa Del Mar, then onto the Loyola Marymount Chapel and back to Casa Del Mar for the reception. It was a wild night on the dance floor and Michael got a fantastic action shot! I was also excited about some of our night shots. We’ve been playing around with off camera flash and the results are really dramatic. I love the feeling in the images.
