The Rose Parade
August 28, 2008 | Filed Under Personal by michael |
Every year, the Rose Parade passes by our studio less than a block away, so we’ve camped out the night before the last two years in order to get good seats. Two years prior was a total bust, with torrential downpour during the whole parade, and last year we didn’t go, which made this year a little better for photo opportunities. Since I didn’t get these up earlier for you, I wanted to blog some of the random photos from The Rose Parade before I moved them to archive. The majority of these were shot with my 400mm 2.8 canon lens, which I’ve had a few people ask about. Enjoy the bright the colors, the mix of movement, and the patterns! Maybe we’ll see you out there in January!

That Kid in the Red sweater is the best part of the whole parade! I love that shot. I don’t remember what he saw, but it was “Oh” so amazing to his little eyes.
