Doyin & Mariko – Engagement Photos, Beverly Hills
September 12, 2008 | Filed Under Engagement by michael |
So this is how I know I’m behind on blogging, we’ve already done Doyin & Mariko wedding and I’m just blogging their engagement pics! Mariko picked Two Rodeo Drive because she works just down the street and she loves the area, and Doyin had done some modeling so this couple seemed to fit right in on Rodeo. This is a happy couple! I tried to do a few pics without smiles, but neither of them could really stop, so we just rolled with the smiles. Some of my favorites are from the collage in the first photo!

The one with the blue (I’m always so partial to blues, greens, oranges..etc.) is just breath taking. These kids will have cute kids..you seem to capture what they wanted and they seem really relaxed..wow..now that’s an art, huh? Capturing people relaxed..there’s your new tag line.. or perhaps, relaxing capturing people…!! great job.
I love the pictures with the lamp posts (at LACMA on La Brea?), especially the one in color with the deep blue sky)- very cool!
WOW!! Awesome, awesome, awesome! My favs are: 2, 5, 16 and 17.(I know cause when I saw them I got that jaw droppin’ face!) However, I love all of them, great color, lighting, subjects, architecture and just overall quality is superb!
I love those ones with the lamps as well. I just saw those the other day for the first time and thought it would be a great spot for pictures. I’ve been watching your blog ever since I found out you’d be doing my best friend Jaclyn’s wedding. Can’t wait to see the pics!
Hi.
I love the way you literally “capture the moment” in each photograph.
The photographs convey the feeling, movement of the subject.
Simply great photography.
I’m telling you, its all Doyin & Mariko! They just had a good time, and I was able to get some good shots. Thanks for all your comments, they mean a lot.
Mari and I had such a great time with this photoshoot. Michael is truly THE BEST!
