It's really all about the "life" in lifestyle. When we show up, we really just hang out with our families, and couples. I do very little setup directing, because you want to capture the reality of the situation even when it's not ideal. So we might have an idea of where to put people, but then we're always adjusting to allow for the real situation to turn into moments that work. If the kids are doing weird things, let it happen, in fact we encourage fun crazy ideas, and let them play out. The last thing, shoot, shoot, shoot. Don't stop taking pictures, because you can miss a lot of the in-between moments that make the "lifestyle" images you're looking for. Hey Jon, that’s a great question.
