Kerry & Scott – Engagement, Pasadena

Kerry and Scott wanted the Pasadena city vibe for their photos, and when I took them to this first location they were thrilled because it turns out they are obsessed with London and the red telephone booths. This couple is so sweet and extremely intelligent. It turns out Scott is quite the photographer so we had much to chat about. Scott said that at one point he was even playing around with underwater photography. He moved away from that medium, but continues in another creative field, he designs furniture! We artists can’t help ourselves, we’re always searching for that creative outlet and I think Scott found his passion. Congratulations Kerry and Scott, we’ll see you soon!

Dana & Brian – Engagement, Palos Verdes

Dana and Brian are actually getting married this Friday at the lovely La Venta Inn, and I’m looking forward to seeing them again after a fantastic time at their engagement session. This couple is so great together! They are very personable and genuine; I really felt like I was hanging out with old friends. After a quick clothes change, we headed down to the beach with their beloved dogs Mo and Miles who are just the cutest! They all made for quite the little family romping at the beach. I love the images of them interacting with Mo and Miles and Brian’s jumping shot is classic!
Congratulations you two, I’ll see you soon!

Doyin & Mariko – Engagement Photos, Beverly Hills

So this is how I know I’m behind on blogging, we’ve already done Doyin & Mariko wedding and I’m just blogging their engagement pics! Mariko picked Two Rodeo Drive because she works just down the street and she loves the area, and Doyin had done some modeling so this couple seemed to fit right in on Rodeo. This is a happy couple! I tried to do a few pics without smiles, but neither of them could really stop, so we just rolled with the smiles. Some of my favorites are from the collage in the first photo!
