Our very own Anna is engaged! Several months ago actually, and she’s getting married next month! We are super excited for her and Jake. Anna has worked for us for the past year and a half doing design work for our studio and helping with all of our processing. She is AMAZING! and we absolutely love her, couldn’t survive without her. She’s been such a blessing to our evoke family this past year and we couldn’t be happier for her and Jake to start their life together.

We did a little studio session with them a few months ago, and Anna designed her Save the Date card. We thought we’d share this cuteness with you. We just shot their engagement session last week, which we’ll be posting soon, so stay tuned… cause they are HOT!!

It’s family portrait season, and there’s still time to do yours! We met Andy through our photo job with ELIC. He was our guide and interpreter when we went to China in April. We became instant friends, and stayed in touch with him and his adorable family, who we just had to photograph. Seriously, can you resist these kids? Taya’s cheeks are so squeezable, and little Logan is quite the character (with awesome Guitar Hero imitating skills). They recently moved to Colorado, so we’re glad we got the session in before they left. Here are a few of our favorites from the session. We miss you guys!

A few months ago we headed up to visit our good friends Kris & Cori in Santa Barbara (remember them, their wedding was in Breckenridge Colorado). I have to tell you that I am thoroughly jealous of their beautiful beach style bungalow. It was such a joy to relax with them, especially with Kris’s homemade sangria and avocado spread.
