Jamie wanted a session at Desconso Gardens, but when we got there, they were closing! (note to all, they close early!)
We had to improvise, so we ran around and found some fun spots in Pasadena that made for great images! I love the red we found to go with their formal attire. Jamie & Jared’s wedding is later this month at the beautiful Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica. We look forward to an elegant wedding with the classy couple.

We had such a fantastic time with Jessica & Eddie, we really didn’t want to leave at the end of the night! What a truly genuine couple. The wedding was at the Prado in Balboa Park, and despite the crowds we were able to capture some really special moments. The architecture was quite grand so we really wanted to work with it as much as possible, and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. Thank you again Jessica & Eddie for your kindness.

Over the past year we’ve been experimenting with Infrared, and have come up with some pretty cool stuff, however we hadn’t really experienced it to it’s full potential until we went wild with it in Africa. We brought the IR everywhere we went, and I just shot everything I could with it. When we started processing these images I did some further tweaks to the finals, and I really started to like some of the stuff we were getting. I’ve been playing with the balance between a conversion that leans more towards a classic B&W and one that really pulls out the beauty that only IR can produce. Here are some of our favorites.
