Paola & Eric

You guys probably remember Paola & Eric’s engagement session (she had the red shoes, and he had the old-school blue Nikeys) well we had so many people tell us they loved those photos because they were so full of life! Big suprise, their wedding photos are every bit as energetic and amazing! What a fun couple to work with! We started off the day at the Historic Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles, where I got some photos of Paola getting ready. Then I jumped across the street to grab a few of the guys down in Perishing square before the ceremony. The ceremony was at Cathedral of Our lady of the Angels which was a really nice church to photograph in, full of natural light. We stoped by the Disney Concert Hall for some pictures with the bridal party, and then the Atheneum in Pasadena on the Cal Tech Campus. Paola put so much thought into the details for this wedding, and it really shows! The bright colors totally reflect their style, and it was pretty cool to see how Poala integrated it into such an elegant event. I had such a hard time picking favorites, I eventually just stopped trying to narrow things down, so here’s the final selection. Enjoy.

Monica & Amir – Loyola Marymount

This was a special session because Monica & Amir met here over 5 years ago. They both attended Loyola Marymount Univerisity and studied science together. We had a great time walking the campus while they shared their stories with me. Here’s some of my favorite spots from the shoot.

Angela & Justin

Here are a few of our favorites from Angela & Justin’s wedding, which was one of the shortest days we’ve had this year. It was pretty cool because they had a Phantom of the Opera theme going, complete with music during the ceremony. Their reception was at Bridges Auditorium at Claremont College, which has a very regal feel. Check out the last shot (the outside of the auditorium) that Michael got during the reception.
