Tricia & Raul - Engagement Session

Tricia & Raul are the coolest couple! We had a blast wandering around San Juan Capistrano, finding great texture and color for their pics. Raul is very artistic, and wanted a good variety of settings and angles to convey their style. I love the images with them leaning on the old shack with the railroad tracks in the foreground. Raul said “this reminds me of my grandmothers place” which added to the already nostalgic feeling I had when I first saw it. There is something about Tricia’s little mannerisms that make almost every shot, the poising of her foot, the folding of her hands, her smiles. I loved their interaction with each other and their ability to convey a more fashion/model look at the same time. Great job guys! Can’t wait for the wedding!

Congratulations - Kameron & Lyndsay

This was a fun wedding! Kameron & Lyndsay live in a little town called Turlock (near Stockton), so it was really nice to get out of L.A. for a wedding. Hans, one of my good friends from college was a groomsmen (we photographed his wedding a few years back), and Kameron had been one of his groomsmen, so it was a little bit of a reunion, and it was great to see everyone again! I always love photographing weddings at private residences, because of the intimacy, and because everything around you is personal and means something to the bride and groom. This was exactly how Kameron and Lyndsay’s wedding was, very intimate, and such connection with family history and the friends that shared in their experiences. We had such a great time with Kameron & Lyndsay and I know we’re always saying how awesome our couples are, but it really is true. Thank you both for your hospitality and your friendships. We’re already excited about the next reunion!

I started with the guys early in the day, and we made it a point to find some sweet industrial spots to grab a few shots, and then we headed back for the ceremony. Its always hard to choose only a few favorites from each wedding, and we want to continue to show new locations, interesting details, and fun people, so here’s a few from Kameron & Lyndsay! Enjoy.

Congratulations - Sara & Brian

I wanted to get a few posts in before Christmas, because we still have a lot to post before January, so I’m going to do a few back to back here. I know that many of your are waiting for the New England photos, so check back right after Christmas because we’ll have them up!

Sara & Brian were married at a church about 30 mins outside of Chicago, and then held their reception at the beautiful Cuneo Museum!
With such a beautiful location we only wished we had more time with them. Luckily the weather was perfect and despite some intense bugs, we were able to get some amazing photos. We had a fantastic time out in Chicago, and really enjoyed our time with Sara & Brian. Thank you both for your hospitality!
