Santa Monica has long been a favorite of our clients for engagement photos, and we do quite a few sessions along the pier every year. For this session though, I really wanted to mix things up a little, so I found a chic furniture store downtown, and we ended up with some pretty amazing images. Liz & Carson thought I was crazy when we went in there, but really loved the results.

Every once in a while we do an engagement session in Downtown Pasadena, which of course we love, because we adore our little city. This was a fun session because I pushed myself to find new places to shoot, which I think always brings out the creativity in the photos. Veronica & Brigham are getting married at The Mission Inn in Riverside later this month, and I’m really looking forward to photographing this easy going couple at such a beautiful location in only a few short weeks.

Jean & Hubert found us just a few weeks before their wedding, so we snuck an engagement session in at the Descanso Gardens just in time. I don’t think I’ve ever meet a couple that was more perfect for each other! These two are such fun, genuine people that it was hard not to put the camera down and just hang out. We had a good time finding our photos spots as walked through the gardens, and they had no trouble hamm’in it up for the camera with each other.
