The Link Family Portraits

Brian, Piper, Bronwyn, and Murphy are such a beautiful family! We were so excited when they asked us to do a family portrait session with them before they moved back to Oklahoma, and we really enjoyed spending the day the with them. We started off the day at their home in Pasadena because it’s a special place with fond memories of their time in California, and then we headed off to a few other spots including their much loved California beach!
Brian is a Surgeon, and Piper, who used to be a school teacher, is a full time mom. They moved from Oklahoma last year to finish Brian’s fellowship, which means he has now completed 14 years of medical school!! He was asked to come on board by several amazing hospitals across the U.S. because he is now one of the leading robotic urologists in the country! They decided to be near family and old friends, so they’re headed back to Oklahoma this month to continue their journey through life. We were so blessed to be a part of their lives while they were here, and we can’t wait to visit them in Oklahoma. Here are just a few photos from our session together. Enjoy
~ We will be offering a special rate on all family portrait sessions booked in the month of July, so email us today to reserve a date with your family!

Kris & Cori – Lodge & Spa at Breckenridge

The long awaited Colorado wedding has been posted! Kris and Cori are dear friends of ours and it was such an honor to be a part of their special day. Michael was actually the best man at the wedding, so he had a bit of double duty, while I charged about in my Ugg boots trying to capture the raw, natural beauty of their Breckenridge wedding. We spent 5 days in Colorado helping with preparations, being a part of parties, brunches, rehearsal, the much anticipated wedding, and then a two day snowboarding experience. The first single image in the post, was taken from the deck of the cabin at sunrise. As his bare feet crunched through the fresh snow on the cedar deck of the bridal party cabin, Michael got this gorgeous shot which speaks so much of the serenity and beauty of the wedding. Oh, and when I say “cabin” I mean snowy mountain mansion…the place was unreal, and the entire bridal party stayed all together for 3 days which made for a really special time for Kris and Cori as they were surrounded by some of their favorite people. It was pretty cold that day, but the sun did come out, and the bridal party braved the cold air, and trecked out in the snow (boots and all) for the photos
The gathering was intimate, with close friends and family present. The love for Kris and Cori was truly evident throughout the entire week, and it was so special to experience it with them. It was a time to celebrate what God had done in their lives individually, and what the future would hold for them collectively. I’ve never cried so much at a wedding, I was so touched by the heart of Cori’s father as he married them, and Kris’s reaction when he first saw Cori was the most precious I’ve seen.
Let us know what you think!

Hubert & Jean – Calamigos Equestrian Center

Hubert and Jean are full of kindness, compassion, and joy for each other and for those around them! It was such a blessing to be able to work with them and to share such a beautiful time in their lives with them. We know that these two will never have a shortage of deep and meaningful friendships with the people that are lucky enough to spend time with them. We had the privilege to work with the wonderful Kelley Gin at Picture Perfect Events (make sure to visit her new website!) who made the whole day absolutely seamless. Hubert and Jean were married at the Glendale Presbyterian Church, and then held their reception at the Calamigos Equestrian Center. Here’s a few from their fantastic day!
