The Paschall Family Portraits

I don’t even know where to start. This was just one of those sessions that you never forget. Little Manoah was such a treat to work with, and his little personality just came out in every photo. The funniest part about the session is that I was chasing him all over to grab images, because he wouldn’t stay still for more than two seconds. I’ve never seen a kid with that much energy! Sam & Anjuli, you guys are such amazing parents. It was such a pleasure to spend the afternoon with you. We hope you enjoy these photos!

Debbie & Jason – Palos Verdes

Here’s another huge post, because it was really difficult to narrow down the images from this wedding. We spent a long day with Debbie and Jason, and multiple locations made for some beautiful images. I simply love the images we took of Debbie in her room prior to the ceremony, there is a calmness, and an anticipation at the same time. Jason was all smiles and laughter as we spent time with him and his groomsmen. Debbie and Jason saw each other for the first time in front of Wayfarers Chapel just before they were married. It’s actually a very beautiful chapel on the cliffs overlooking the coast, and it’s totally enveloped in trees, except for a few spots where the light comes through in the evening and shines directly on the bride and groom as they stand at the alter. It can be difficult to photograph, but it also makes for amazing images. Right after the ceremony, we had some phenomenal light to work with, and made a few stops for photos along the way to the reception. The vertical image of the couple walking on the bridge is one of my favorites from the day. Enjoy!

Dana & Brian – Engagement, Palos Verdes

Dana and Brian are actually getting married this Friday at the lovely La Venta Inn, and I’m looking forward to seeing them again after a fantastic time at their engagement session. This couple is so great together! They are very personable and genuine; I really felt like I was hanging out with old friends. After a quick clothes change, we headed down to the beach with their beloved dogs Mo and Miles who are just the cutest! They all made for quite the little family romping at the beach. I love the images of them interacting with Mo and Miles and Brian’s jumping shot is classic!
Congratulations you two, I’ll see you soon!
