Yes, I am just now posting our 4th of July wedding! We had so much fun with Prudens and Conrad. Their family and friends also were such a joy to be around, and there was much celebrating throughout the day for this beautiful couple. Their reception was at the Marriott in Marina Del Rey which offered some spectacular views for the fireworks show. We loved the courtyard where we did a lot of the photos, because they there was just so much to work with. It was easy to photograph Prudens because she is so confident, and that rubbed off on Conrad after our first session with them. Melody and John were going for a dramatic, artistic look to their session, so I scouted out Pasadena, and found some new spots with amazing color and texture for backgrounds. I absolutely love the color in these images and the hazy glow light and shadows on the building. The combination of the background and light working together made for some really beautiful images, and they brought the drama with their model faces, and up for anything attitude! As I’m sure you can see from the images, this couple is really sweet together. Their demeanor and personalities really suite each other, and they are a pleasure to be around. I’m excited for their upcoming wedding!

You’ll remember Anita and Michael from their engagement session we did in Westwood last year. Remember they met while attending UCLA, so for their formal wedding photos we headed to the campus for some familiar settings. Because it was so hot that day, we wanted to keep the bridal party out of the sun as much as possible, so all the building arches and hallways worked really well for the photos. Anita and Michael were married at a beautiful Croatian church in LA with a warm, welcoming interior which was also reflected in the warmth of all their guests. These people are all so friendly! And of course it was a pleasure to work with Anita and Michael again.
