Our very own Anna is engaged! Several months ago actually, and she’s getting married next month! We are super excited for her and Jake. Anna has worked for us for the past year and a half doing design work for our studio and helping with all of our processing. She is AMAZING! and we absolutely love her, couldn’t survive without her. She’s been such a blessing to our evoke family this past year and we couldn’t be happier for her and Jake to start their life together.

We did a little studio session with them a few months ago, and Anna designed her Save the Date card. We thought we’d share this cuteness with you. We just shot their engagement session last week, which we’ll be posting soon, so stay tuned… cause they are HOT!!

The colors at this wedding were simply gorgeous,  we loved the tropical coral theme! Tiffany’s mom helped a lot with the planning, including all the beautiful floral work! Tiffany and Ed are so adorable together, and are genuine sweethearts, which makes them easy to photograph, and to top it all they both have smiles and laughs that will melt your heart (check out some of the photos below and you’ll see what I mean).  They were both so calm as they got ready, and just enjoyed hanging out with their close friends and family, which made the day seem to flow so beautifully. The Turnip Rose is such an amazing, beautiful venue to get married at because it’s so intimate and natural in the courtyard, with everyone gathered around closely to participate in the ceremony. The light streams through in the late afternoon, and makes the whole scene just glow. What a wonderful celebration to be a part of, from the warm sentiments of friends and family, and beautiful location, down to the last marvelous, colorful detail (speaking of which, be sure to check out the custom embroidered kicks the groomsmen wore… that is a seriously awesome detail!!).

Their wedding was equally as special at the beautiful Sherwood Country Club. The timeless ‘estate’ feel, and the elegant grounds beautifully set the stage for Marilyn and Jeff to state their vows. The covered canopy gave shade to the gathered friends and family as Jeff fought back tears of joy standing with his bride. I was really moved by his sensitivity to Marilyn, he was so gentle with her all day. We took a little tour of the grounds in a golf cart after the ceremony and got some gorgeous photos with the light coming through the trees…some of my favorites.
